A little bit about me…

As of the writing of this post, I have about twelve years of experience with the whole GIS/geospatial thing in all three sectors (private, public, and non-profit). Started out with ArcView 1.x and ARC/INFO 7.x, so I am no spring chicken, but I am also not an old timer. I contribute to the BlinkGeo Blog as a way to share some of my thoughts/observations on the whole GIS 2.0/Where 2.0 thing. At present: I work as a senior consultant, and I am also the founder of CartoSoft, a small startup on a mission to expand the reach of GIS to a broader audience through the Internet.
